Fees, cover and your first visit

We would rather say things upfront. Here is how a first consultation works, how reimbursement works in Morocco, and the answers to the questions we are asked most.

Your first visit, step by step

    Getting in touch

    By phone, WhatsApp or through the form. We agree a slot together and tell you what to bring.

    Full examination

    Teeth, gums and occlusion are examined, with an X-ray if needed. This is the moment to tell us what worries you.

  3. 3

    Costed treatment plan

    You receive the list of treatments needed, ordered by urgency, with the cost of each. Nothing starts without your agreement.

  4. 4

    The treatment

    We begin with whatever hurts or is getting worse, then move at the pace that suits you.

What to bring

  • Photo ID.
  • Your insurance or health-cover card, if you have one.
  • Any previous dental X-rays you may have.
  • A list of the medicines you take, and any known allergies.

Fees

The cost of a treatment depends on the state of the tooth, the material chosen and the number of sessions. That is why you are given a written estimate after the examination, before any treatment. Nothing is charged without having been accepted first.

CNSS, AMO and private insurance

Dental treatment is partly covered by AMO/CNSS and by most private health insurers, at rates and ceilings that vary between organisations. We give you an itemised invoice and the documents your reimbursement claim needs. Do ask us before committing to a long course of treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Is treatment painful?
In the vast majority of cases, no. Modern local anaesthetic removes pain during treatment, and we adapt the dose to your sensitivity. If you are anxious, tell us when you arrive: we go more slowly and explain each step before doing it.
How often should I come in?
One check-up a year is enough for most adults, with a scaling. If you have fragile gums, braces, diabetes, or if you smoke, every six months is better. For children, once a year from the age of three.
How much does treatment cost?
It depends entirely on the procedure and the state of the tooth. So we don't quote prices over the phone without having examined you, because that would be dishonest. What you do get is a complete written estimate after the examination, and nothing is carried out without your agreement.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call the practice directly on 05 23 28 23 27. We keep slots free every day for acute pain, abscesses, broken teeth and trauma. If an adult tooth has been knocked out, keep it in milk or saline and come in immediately.
Do you see children?
Yes. We see children from the age of three, ideally before anything hurts, so that the practice registers as a neutral experience. Baby teeth are worth treating: they hold the space for the adult teeth, and an untreated infection can damage the tooth bud underneath.
Does whitening damage teeth?
Carried out at the practice, on healthy teeth and after a scaling, it is considered safe. What causes damage are unregulated over-the-counter products and kits used on cavities or inflamed gums. Temporary sensitivity to cold is common for a few days and then settles.
Do you accept CNSS and private insurance?
We give you an itemised invoice along with the documents needed for your reimbursement claim to AMO/CNSS or your insurer. Rates and ceilings depend on your own organisation, so ask us before starting a long course of treatment.
What languages do you work in?
The practice works in French, Arabic (both Darija and Modern Standard) and English.
