Our treatments

Our dental treatments

The practice covers everything a family needs, from the annual check-up to the most complete rehabilitations. Every treatment is preceded by an examination and a detailed written estimate.

Prevention & everyday care

Consultation & diagnosis

A full examination of teeth, gums and occlusion, followed by a costed treatment plan.

A first visit takes longer than a simple check-up. We examine every tooth, the state of the gums and the way your jaws close, with an X-ray if needed. You leave with a written treatment plan, ordered from the most urgent to the most optional, and its cost.

General care & cavities

Cavity treatment, tooth-coloured composites, and root canal work when the tooth is too far gone.

A cavity caught early is treated in one session with a composite matched to the shade of your tooth. When the decay reaches the nerve, root canal treatment saves the tooth rather than extracting it. That is almost always the better long-term option.

Scaling & prevention

Removing tartar and plaque, the foundation of preventing cavities and gum recession.

Tartar is the starting point of most gum problems. A scale and polish once or twice a year, together with brushing advice adapted to your own mouth, remains the best-value treatment in all of dentistry.

Smile aesthetics

Teeth whitening

Gradual, controlled lightening, either in the chair or with custom-made trays.

Whitening has to be prepared: it requires healthy teeth and a prior scaling. We first assess what is causing the discolouration, then choose between an in-chair session and an at-home course with trays. The result is natural and sensitivity is kept under control.

Dental veneers

Thin ceramic shells that correct the shape, shade or alignment of a smile.

Veneers correct in a few sessions what orthodontics would take months to move: stained, worn, slightly misaligned or widely spaced teeth. We work from a simulation so that you approve the result before anything is prepared.

Replacing a tooth

Fixed & removable prosthetics

Crowns, bridges and dentures, to restore full chewing and a complete smile.

A missing tooth lets the neighbouring ones drift and unbalances chewing. Depending on how many teeth are involved, the state of the bone and your budget, we propose a crown, a bridge, a removable denture or an implant solution, explaining honestly what each one cannot do.

Implantology

Replacing a missing root with a titanium implant, without touching the neighbouring teeth.

An implant is the only solution that replaces the root and preserves the bone. It avoids cutting down the adjacent teeth the way a bridge does. Treatment runs in several stages over a few months, always after a full radiological assessment.

Alignment & gums

Orthodontics

Conventional braces and clear aligners, for children and adults alike.

Straightening teeth is not only cosmetic: poor alignment makes brushing harder, wears the enamel and tires the jaw joints. We treat children, teenagers and adults, with fixed appliances or clear aligners depending on the case.

Periodontics

Treating gums that bleed, recede, or leave teeth feeling loose.

A gum that bleeds when you brush is never normal. Left untreated, periodontal disease gradually destroys the bone that holds the teeth. It is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. Treatment combines deep cleaning, regular follow-up and sometimes surgery.

Children, surgery & imaging

Paediatric dentistry

Care for the youngest, in an atmosphere of trust that shapes their whole dental life.

A child's first visit should happen before any problem, at around three years old, so that the practice registers as something neutral. We take the time to build trust, seal the grooves of the permanent molars, and treat baby teeth, which hold the space for the adult ones.

Surgery & extractions

Simple extractions, wisdom teeth and minor surgery, under local anaesthetic.

We only extract a tooth when it can no longer be saved, or when it is in the way of the others, commonly the case with wisdom teeth. The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, with written aftercare instructions and a healing check.

Dental radiology

Low-dose digital imaging, to see what a clinical examination cannot show.

Cavities between teeth, cysts, infections at the root, the position of wisdom teeth: much of this is only visible on an X-ray. The digital sensor reduces the dose compared with film and shows the image immediately on screen, in front of you.

Dental emergency

A dental emergency?

Toothache does not book ahead. Call the practice: we keep slots every day to relieve the pain first, reach a diagnosis and stabilise the situation, before organising the definitive treatment.
